Just Right for Sunset (full)

Holy Wednesday April 04 2012

I don’t know what got into me that I lighted the candle, prayed the rosary, and seeing that it was already 6pm I then prayed the Angelus. After praying I asked Papa where were the 4 kids, my tropa , and he said that they are in the port. So I brought my camera coz I know in a few minutes it will be sunset. When I reached the port the kids are not there, but then there’s the sunset. And here’s the picture I took that day.

At 6:05 PM

Sunset 1
Sunset 2

In just a few minutes life can change.

The sun disappears in the horizon

The original draft of this anecdote were written on a connected facebook wall. I directly wrote it then using my Samsung Galaxy Y phone, therefore I don’t have the draft for the said composition. Like what I have said on the first paragraph,  I really don’t know what got into me that day. The words I wrote, and of course it’s effect to the person to whom I wrote it. And he asked me a very difficult question, which at that time I really did not understand and shocked my senses.  But I did answer him, that if he thought that way, so be it. And so it does. And if the question can only be asked in the most simple way, the usual way, the answer is “Yes”. Not directly said but read between the lines, the answer is just right there and I know that he understood.

We haven't watched the sunset together, but most of our lives we have been looking at the same thing, in different time, on different horizons and on different vantage point. I thank God He gave me you. Deo Gratias!!!
