Honesty is such a lonely word, everyone is so untrue.
It is actually a lyrics from a song titled “Honesty”. During those times
then, my routine activity every morning I wake up is checking my FB profile. And
of course checking the news feed. I was engaged then to my fiancé of 4 years.
And seeing his comments had made me mad. Why? I knew him very well, and those
comments he made was not like him. It was like seeing someone change right in
front of your eyes.
September of the same year we broke up. And months after that, it was the
only time I have noticed this college batchmate of mine. He posted this on his
wall on the same date. He actually liked my one sentence wall post about
honesty. Weird, isn’t it?
I asked Chona why would someone do it. And she said, “Ate, cheering squad,
moral support.Nakikipag away ka eh.”
I am new then with the social networking site. Thus when I learned how it
works, I imitated him. And indeed he is a good teacher. And I’ll ask now who
started it all? Is it Him or Me? A twist of fate. Though it took me months,
good thing I noticed, just right in time.
